almhof Chalets welcomes you to the Orange River Valley in Kakamas, where vineyards, Palm trees and citrus surround the area, the contrast route, with delicious wines, dried fruit, friendly people, local art and breath taking sunsets. We want our guests to stay in Kakamas to experience the peace, beauty and absolute warmth, not just that of the sun but the hospitality of the ‘platte land’.

Palmhof Chalets offers you, our guest, more than just an overnight visit.

9 Years ago one man had a dream; to accommodate guests in a beautiful and secure overnight stay and make them feel at home. Accompanied by his wife they have reached a goal. We have achieved to accommodate up to 50 guests in a comfortable and homely environment and go to extreme lengths to keep our guests happy. Our horizons have been widened by adding a 14 Seater Shuttle to the Family as well as a few siblings such as a variety of tours and 6 quad bikes.

Our plans and dreams have however not yet stopped here. We have seen that bigger is definitely better and planned that in the near future Palmhof Chalets is going to grow from a 23 Unit Accommodation Setup to something beyond our dreams. The plans consist of a Conference facility, Cocktail bar, Restaurant, Entertainment room for the kids, a safe family friendly setup as well as a curio shop and art gallery. We recently expanded our Complex with four B&B units as well as a Lapa area and upgraded the swimming pool area.  Groups can comfortably be accommodated and entertained.
